Budhism role as an important rule in order to show the way of being a good human being in society in Society. The monks have duty to to explain what the Buddha have taugh to people to understand what is right and what is wrong. In Budhisim, focus on right or wrong, true or not true, moral or imoral, the Buddha taugh us to do the rights thing by using critical thinking.
